鉴别诊断:
良性大导管的前列腺上皮增生:增生的腺体常与小的良性腺体混合增生,腔面上皮无明显的核仁,基底细胞染色保存。
高级别前列腺上皮内瘤变(HGPIN):增生的上皮细胞与假增生性癌的上皮细胞形态特征相同,但HGPIN至少局灶存在基底细胞(通过基底细胞免疫组化染色)
前列腺导管腺癌:增生的上皮细胞结构更复杂,常见含有纤维血管轴心的乳头状结构,瘤细胞呈假复层排列,核仁明显,基底细胞大多数丢失,偶尔导管腺癌在导管内生长时可保留有基底细胞。
