概述：

正常细胞普遍浆表达SDHB，异常表达缺失。

信号定位：胞浆

在病理学中的应用：

1.SDH缺陷型胃肠道间质瘤的诊断，该型c-kit或PDGFRA基因突变检测显示为野生型;

2.嗜铬细胞瘤(副节瘤)中存在一定比例的SDHB基因突变(阴性)病例，肾上腺外突变率高于肾上腺嗜铬细胞瘤，SDHB基因的突变为副节瘤恶性和复发的高危因素;

3.部分肾细胞癌也存在SDHB突变。

几乎全部阳性（≥95%的病例阳性）：
食管胃肠道间质瘤、小肠胃肠道间质瘤、神经纤维瘤病相关性胃肠道间质瘤、胃肠外间质肿瘤
通常阳性（<95%，≥75%的病例阳性）：
副神经节瘤、胃肠道间质瘤
